Before you write
Errors in a workbook. Please give the volume, the page and the line. Every correction we receive goes on the errata page, whether or not it flatters us.
Confirming an ISBN. The edition check will answer immediately. The office will take a fortnight and say the same thing.
Volume 7. We receive correspondence about Volume 7 at a steady rate and we are not able to answer it. The title was withdrawn in November 2004 and the decision is not ours to revisit. If you are in possession of a copy, please do not return it to this address and please do not post it to the author.
